Phil & Bonnie and family

Phil and Bonnie have been married for almost 30 years.   Bonnie is from the Island and Phil is from Calgary and  they have resided on the Island most of their married life. They met at  a Bible School in Chicago and after some time in Alberta and overseas they returned to the Island to raise their family.

Phil resigned from a management position in a lumber firm a few years ago  to spend  his energies at Puddingstone Place and start a   construction company he calls NJTS which stands for "no job too small" .  Instead of dealing with staff and suppliers, you will now find him welcoming guests, doing all sorts of maintenance and quite often cooking you breakfast or heading out to the jobsite. On Sunday mornings he will cook you breakfast and then rush off to a   church he pastors in Sault Ste. Marie.

Bonnie has spent her time raising her children and being involved in community and church life. She now specializes in greeting our guests and maintaining the warm atmosphere that Puddingstone is noted for.

Our son Levi and his wife Theresa  have lived in the Middle East for the last 4 years where he teaches English.  They have 2 wonderful daughters Lydia and Grace and are expecting a 3rd daughter in May of 2009.

Our daughter Barclee  and  her husband Stuart Huggins reside in southern Ontario , he is a journeyman tradesman and my daughter works for GM.

As parents we are very excited and proud that our children have attended Chrisitian  colleges where they have been  able to further their knowledge of their faith. As Christian parents we realize that this is the most important aspect of their lives.  May God bless them as they seek to serve Him in their lives.
