Directions to Puddingstone Place

Location

2 hours from Mackinac Bridge

40 minutes east of Sault Ste Marie

3 hours west of Sudbury

Less than 10 minutes off highway 17

From the Sault

Take highway 17 east (to Sudbury) for approximately 40 minutes Large sign for St. Joseph Island - turn right

From Sudbury

Take highway 17 (to Sault Ste Marie) for approximately 3 hours after two hours you will come to a series of small communities Thessalon - Bruce Mines - Desbarats - 5 minutes from Desbarats you will see a  Large sign for St. Joseph Island - turn left

Coming onto the Island

Go over bridge and follow signs for Puddingstone Place Inn (and Richards Landing).When coming into Richards Landing you will pass a small school on the right. Continue for another 3 or 4 blocks and you will see a large blue sign on your right

Richards Landing Town Center

The main highway turns left 90 degrees - follow the highway - don't go into downtown. We are immediately on the right with a large sign reading Puddingstone Place.

Note: If you miss the 90 degree corner ( about 60% of our guests   do) you will end up at the municipal marina, turn around and go back to the stop sign and turn right. We are immediately on the right.
