Year 2002/2003

 October 13 - 9:45  first snowflakes of the year enough to cover the ground

October 14-November 16  typical fall weather - wet snow, getting colder .

November 26 - coldest day of the year so far - 20 degrees - ice forming on the lake

Dec 1- high around 18 degrees - ice formed almost across the entire lake almost like winter :o)

Dec 14 - 6 inches of new snow - weather getting colder

Dec 19 - UGH !! Temperature in the 40's and raining - no snow left

Dec 25 - high 20's little snow on the ground - lake all open behind the Inn.

Jan 1 - 2003 - higher than normal temps - no trails open anywhere in the area -  only a skiff of snow on the ground.

Jan 10 - looks like the beginning of winter 8-10" of snow - nothing groomed as of yet

Jan 14 - first grooming of trails-not useable yet still need more snow - a great base established

Jan 18 - went for a 10 mile - all trails still closed - need lots more snow - temp around 0 Faren.

March 15 - warm temperatures - trails now getting unrideable

Mar 22 - trails officially closed for the year

April 1 - cold weather below freezing

April 5,6 - huge snowfall 6-10 inches total - time to get the sleds out again :o)
