Year 2001/02

 October 7  7:30 pm  first snowflakes of the year - snow seen on cars / fields / ditches

Nov 26: 1st real snow of the year - lots of white stuff and still more falling : calling for 10" or so.  Looks like it will be to warm to stay by weeks end tho.  :o(

Nov 28: Had to get the snowblower out and do the driveway.  Lots of snow. 

Dec 3 : This week they are calling for  the temperatures to rise to the  mid 40's.Snow is now almost gone and will be totally gone by Friday - 7th.

Week of Dec 10 - set records for warm temperatures..no snow in the forcast :o(

Dec 25 - a white Christmas but thats all you can say

Jan 5 - summed up - warm temps little snow

Jan 11   - record highs and rain - same for the next few days  - lake has opened up behind the Inn anyone for boating??

Jan 14 - a little snow and colder temperatures  perhaps we'll get winter yet

Jan 19 - first real ride(20 miles) ..groomer is out - packing the trails  ...been snowing for a few days - trails not officially open yet. 

Jan 23 - must be new record - no trails groomed/opened here or anywhere in the area - ice dangerous - temps above freezing for next few days.

Feb 1- temp is getting colder now - been in the low 20's last few days -no snow for past 2-3 weeks - BUT  snowed last night and lots of it to come over the next few days.  :o)

Feb 3,4- coldest day of the year - and finally trails are being groomed and are in fair to good conditions.

Feb 18 - weather is just plain weird...going to be above freezing all week.

Feb 27 - lots of snow..around 10" late but still welcomed

Mar 2 - lots more of the white stuff...another 12" or so

Mar 11 - biggest snowfall in the last decade over 24" everything shut down all major roads closed services shut down

Mar 13 - biggest rain of the year - can the weather get any weirder??

Mar 16 - sunny and below freezing

April 17- some  snow left yet...a few inches  on the lawn   yet..ice is now gone on the major part of the lake our bay still frozen tho..high tmeperature this week was in the 70's.

April 19 - ice finally gone from the bay - to cold to swim yet tho :o)

April 25,26,27 - cold and snowy - woke up each day with 1-2" of snow on the ground - golf course opened on the 27  :o)
