{1st snow flake sighting / Nov 3rd 11:48 am EST}{1st snow flurry / Nov 16/ 8:48 am }

{Snowblow driveway - Dec 17}{Dec 29/ no trails open yet, should be next day or two}

{Jan3, all trails should be open By the 6th...no trails groomed as of today}

Jan 4 : Biggest snow of the year...took all morning to dig out...trails should be groomed        today or tomorrow...have put 100 miles on my sleds so far this year.           Looks like  it will be a great year even though it started a little late...    :o)

Jan 5 : Trails are starting to be groomed and are in fair condition.

Jan 8: The show "snow-trax" which is shown nationally on TSN came to the Island and Puddingstone Place to film a special segment on the island as a destination area.  We spent all day on the trails filming and riding , and luckily we had  great conditions.  The show should go to air either Jan 22 or 29th and is usually at 11:00 am est.  Check it out and see what you think.

Jan 10 : Warm weather and rain has deteriorated trail conditions.  Trails are now temporarily closed or in "poor" condition.

Jan 12 : Weather has changed and is now very cold and improving conditions greatly.

Jan 14: Just   came back from a quick test ride  of the trails.  They  have been groomed and are now in fair to good condition. Tree line to the north shore has been started and access to the provincial trails should be completed in the next day or two.   Talked to some sledders who came across the ice from Drummond Island on the 8th, there was no tree line up altho they expected it up sometime this  past week.

Jan 16: Tree lines are now out allowing safe access to the north shore and the provincial trails. The tree - line to Drummond Island has also been put out. Trails are still in fair to good condition, we need one more good snow to be able to up-grade them to excellent.

Jan 18: Snow and more snow.  Has been snowing heavy for over 12 hours with lots more to come.  The trails are in excellent condition and the tree-lines are up.  I will now update our conditions on a need basis.  I anticipate that there will be  few changes and that sledding will be excellent until we get into the spring season.

Feb. 28 : Wierd weather...balmy 45 degrees last few days....snow almost gone on the trails....PLEASE NOTE : ICE IS UNSAFE TO TRAVEL ON !! It is possible that the season is already done.   If trails or conditions improve I will post it.  If not I guess we'll see you next year.

Give us a call today to reserve your room. We still have accommodations available for most week-ends and through-out the week.
